Zacharia Ahlback of Falmmersfeld moved to America in 1734, sold his estate to various persons for 40-260-...fl. Zacharias Ohlbach, aged 36, was enrolled next to Zacharias Flomerfild, aged 21, and Johan Wilhelm Ohlbach, aged 28, on the ship "Hope Galley", with Daniel Riedt, Commander, September 23, 1734, upon their arrival in Philadelphia. Also on this vessell were Ann Dumat Ohlbach, aged 37, Anna Eliz. Ohlbach, aged 26, and children named Joanis Wilhelm Ohlbach, aged 11, Joanis Gerard Ohlbach, aged 6, Anna Margaret Ohlbach, aged 8, Gerderuth Margreat Ohlbach, aged 2, and Joanis Peter Ohlbach, aged 2 years. Anna Demuth daughter of Nolgen Schuchman and Agnes--couple at Eychen, was bpt September 14, 1698--sp.: Thones Klein at Hoben, and Gerhard, son of Johan Zilles at Neiter Ehren (Niederahren) in parish Schoneberg/Nolgen Schumann had married October 24, `688 as Nolgen Rohtt, widower here, to Agnes, widow of Conradt Kescheit at Eychen; Agnes, wife of Nolgen Schumann at Eychen, died December 13, 1706, aged 47 yrs. Albach, Zachariah, in 1735, at the request of his father, who was agent for the Society, Lewis Morris, Jr., went several times to the tract to take leases per the settlers. he found 98 families seated on it beside those on the part claimed by Coxe and Kirbride, called Coxe's and Kirbride's 10,000 acres. They consented to sign leases, which were delivered to the succeeding Agent, Mr. Thyn (See Liber M, 361, Burlington Records). |
