I Wm. F. Cozby of the County of Hardeman and State of Tennessee have this day bargained and Sold and do hereby bargain Sell Transfer and Convey to John P. Cozby of Said County and State his heirs and assigns form a certain Tract of Land Situated in Said County of State in Range One and Sections from and five and of the 10th Surveying District and bounded as follows; "Towit" Beginning at a Stake with a persimmon Black oakd and white Oak po.... The South East Corner of said John P. Coxby's Entry and running South ninety-Eight poles to a stake with Dogowood and White oak po.... Thence South 79 degrees, west Thirty-two poles to a Stake in a field with 1 Black oak po.. Thence ... the east boundry of John G. Walton to Entry North 49 poles to a Sweet gum, Thence with the North bounary of the Same such 70 poles to a white oak.
