Howe, Willis M. Seffner Hills, FL Born on April 21, 1917 in Merrill, MI, the son of Orville and Bertha (Erskin) Howe, passed away on January 25, 2005 at the age of 87. He was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of East Lansing Lodge #480 F. & A. M, Al Kuraf Shrine. He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 4 sisters. Surviving are his wife, Virginia (Moray); sons, Richard M. (Shirley) Howe of Charlotte and John E. (Joyce) Howe of Lansing; daughters, Wilma Jean Billings of Lansing, Naomi I. (Robert) Sherman of Holt, and Patricia A. Rutherford of Lansing; 15 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Joan) Howe of Bath; sisters, Virgilene (Jack) Randall of Florida and Donna Six of Bath. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Masonic Services will be provided. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the East Lansing Lodge #480 F. & A. M, Al Kuraf Shrine in memory of Willis Howe.
