m. Abt 1678
Facts and Events
According to the Ancestry of Annis Spear: William begins to appear on official documents in 1679/80, when he took the "Oath of Allegiance." He was York's constable in 1685 & 1686, and he sat on a Grand Jury in 1688. He was killed by Indians while loading a vessel in 1690. The Ancestry of Annis Spear, also theorizes that this William could possibly be a grandson of William and Catherine Wormwood, and that somehow his father died young and "escaped the records."
