Dep. of Samuel Hall - My father, John Hall, bought land from Chambers. I carried chain in survey. I sold the land for my father to William Townsend. Father had this land for 30-35 years. I had lived on the land 50 years. I built a house for Horn on Chambers property. [where is this deposition located???]

    State of Kentucky in the name of God, amen, I William Townsen of
    Montgomery County, being weak in body, but sound and perfect mind and
    memory
    ( or you may say this considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and
    being of sound).
    And blessed be almighty God for the same do make and publish this my
    last will and testament in the manner and for m following that is to say,
    first I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Elizabeth Townson, all my
    land, goods and chattels during her widowhood and if she marries all my
    land, goods and chattels is to go to my children and I want all my children all to stay together on my farm till they are raised and I want no sail of
    non of my land nor property hereby revoking all former wills by made in witness whereof I have hear unto set my hand and seal this twenty second day of November in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty three.
    Signed Sealed Published and declared by the above named William Townson to be his last will and testament in the presents of us who have hear unto subscribed our names as witness in the presence of the testator attested
