Birth[1] 8 Aug 1811 Whitechapel, Middlesex, England
Christening[1] 19 Sep 1811 Southwark, Surrey, EnglandGuildford Street Independent (Borough Welsh Congregational)

William Timothy was born on 8th August 1811 at Whitechapel in Middlesex, in the inner eastern suburbs of London, and baptised the following month at the Borough Welsh Congregational Chapel in Southwark. He was the son of Mary Timothy, formerly Davis, and her husband William Timothy, who worked variously as a labourer in the East India Company's warehouse, victualler and milkman. Whilst no death or burial record has been found for young William, it seems likely that he died young as his parents went on to have another son called William in 1816.
