[see following comment], d. 1731 [sic, double-dating in probate gives dates as 1732/33, not 1732, suggests d. 1732, no 1731], m. bef 1707 [not explained? confusing since doesn't list their son born in 1707 but correct] Susanna Bates.
    [Note: the two birth options correspond to gaps in known sequence of sibling births that suit the marriage date. Presumably 1676 is preferred because the wife was born 1679.]
