[no entry in card file] [B248; rest of stone gone]: “Here lyes Buried / the Body of Capt / William Thomas / Aged 76 Years.” [Whitmore, ,1413]: “Here lies Buried the Body of Capt William Thomas Aged 76 years.” [There are claims he died 27 DEC 1746 but no primary source has been located. The burial monument next is next to both of his two wives and son William. Age 76 would imply he died in 1748, in 76th year would imply 1747, unless his age was exaggerated].

Wife Ann to be executrix.
