  6. William H. Sunday was born Dec. 9, 1878 at Denver, Ind. and fell asleep in Jesus, Sabbath morning Jan. 12, at his home in Holly after a prolonged illness. On Oct. 28, 1903 he was united in marriage to Nellie Van Abbema at Grand Rapids. Mlch. To this union were born two daughters and two sons. For over forty years he was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, serving as elder of the Penn, Indiana church. Sturges and Linden, Mich. churches, nnrl also head deacon at the Holly Church. Those left to mourn are his wife. Nellie; daughter, Ella Potter, of Holly; son. William B. Sunday. of Pleasant Ridge, Mich.; and one brother, Fred Sunday, of Wabash, Ind.; also three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
    Funeral services were conducted at the Holly Seventh-day Adventist Church by the writer assisted by R. W. Pratt. Interment was In Lakeside Cemetery
