On Saturday evening about the hour of ten o'clock P. M., Mr. W.R. Stewart, who resides near Dodson, passed to his reward. Mr. Stewart had been in ill health for several months, and confined to his room for the past few weeks prior to the end.

The deceased was 84 years of age, and was married to Miss Everett(sic) Mooney, to which union were born nine children, eight of whom are stillliving.

"Uncle" Bill, as he was familiarly known, was a Veteran of the War between the States, a devout member of the Methodist Protestant Church, and a highly respected citizen, and will be greatly missed by relatives andfriends.

The direct cause of death is said to have been Bright's Disease and probably other troubles.

To the bereaved family and relatives we extend our heartfeltsympathy.
