Lemuel may be the son of William.

The 1807 tax list shows the addition of Stephen Stanley and Spencer Stanley. No other males are listed in either of their households. These same Stanleys are on the 1808 tax list. In 1809 William is on the list with no males between 16 and 21 as is Stephen. Stephen Stanley is in Henderson, KY in the 1810 census. He is between 26 and 44 years old as is his wife. He has 2 daughters and 2 sons under the age of 10 and 2 sons between 10 and 15 yrs old.

William appears in the 1810 Federal census in Greenville, Muhlenberg County. He is over the age of 45 and there is one female, also over 45. There is one male between 16 and 26 and one male between 26 and 45.

Spencer Stanley is also on the 1810 census in Greenville. He is 26 to 44 years old as is his wife. He has one son and 4 daughters under the age of 10.
