    Nathan Spooner, s/o Samuel Sr. and Zerviah Hale, b. Somers, CT, 23 Nov 1803, m. 1827 Charlotte Fergerson of New York City. Lived on father's homstead but in 1855 or 56 sold it and removed to Easthampton, then to Tomah, Wisconsin where living in 1884.

  12. His name is given as Nathan Spooner in the Corbin Manuscript, all the census records, both marriages records, and on his personal gravemarker. Only on a civil war marker is the name given as William N Spooner, and since he was roughly 60 at the time of the civil war, one has to wonder if this is an error.
