The Compass - July 2003 "William owned Lot 11, Concession 6, between 1894 and 1900. Land registry records show that he purchased Lot 18, Concession 6, in Nassagaweya in April 1912. The Service family farmed there for another 40 years. William also operated a blacksmith shop on the property for a number of years."
