Service, Henry A ?At the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Sunday, February 23, 1997, following a brief illness. Henry Alexander Service, age 80 years, of Meadowcroft Place, Kitchener. Mr. Service was employed with the University of Waterloo for 16 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Stephen?s Lutheran Church and enjoyed his card games at the church. Beloved husband of the lace Alice (nee Heimpel) who predeceased him February 25, 1990. Loving father of LIVING and his wife LIVING of Kitchener, LIVING and his wife LIVING of Palmerston, LIVING of Oshawa. Sadly missed by his eight grandchildren and his three great grandchildren. Brother of George Service of Georgetown, LIVING Service of Hastings, Mrs. LIVING Hamilton of Milton, Mrs. Elvera Parchem of Campbellville, Mrs. Dorothy McDonald of Brampton, Mrs. LIVING Ferrier and Mrs. LIVING Windsor, both of Guelph. Predeceased by his parents William and Ellen Service. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St W, Kitchener, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. At noon Wednesday removal will be made to St. Stephen?s Lutheran Church, 248 Highland Rd E Kitchener for the funeral and committal service at 2 pm with Rev. William Shafer officiating. Spring interment St James Lutheran Cemetery, Mannehim. Reception to follow at the church. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Building Fund of St Stephen?s Lutheran Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatfully acknowledged.
