nice guy. Obit: William E. Semple. William E, Semple, 70, died Monday morning in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mildred Port, 216 Sixth street after a lingering illness. He was born on February 11, 1875 at Etna, Wisconsin, and moved to Plymouth county, Iowa with his parents in 1879. In 1898 he married Emma Billings at LeMars. In 1932 he and his family moved to Sioux City where he spent the rest of his life. Survivors include hhis widow, two daughters, Mrs. Port and Mrs. Vivian Moir, all of sioux City, three brothers, Allen Madison, SD; Olney, Billings Montana, and Robert, Denver Colorado. one isster Miss Kathleen Semple, Boise, Idaho, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the West-Heaton funeral home. Rev John Caldwell will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
