Lanning (his son-in-law) for $300, 4 acres 3 rods and 28 perches of ground in Oxford Twp. Beginning at a post - side of the road - corner to LAND FORMERLY OF CORNELIUS SLACK, NOW CHARLES SLACK, ALONG LANDS OWNED BY CHARLES SLACK, then by land owned by Philip Foss - BEING THE SAME LOT OF LAND WHICH CORNELIUS SLACK AND WIFE CONVEYED TO WILLIAM RUSH ON 14 MAR 1812 - Recorded in SUSSEX CO. A copy of the transfer from Cornelius Slack to William Rush recorded in 1812 in Sussex Co., may confirm this.
