    According to Kenneth Allyn Rowe (Research in Rowe Research. Virginia Rowe, Danvers/Salem, Massachusetts, 1980. p. 15), it was the Rowe family home, where the coat of arms of John Rowe and Elizabeth Moore were inscribed on a stone lintel
