William Moses - United States Census, 1880

The Moses family left South Carolina sometime between 1880, and 1900; the bulk of them resettling in Lonoke County, Arkansas. It was here that William presumably met and married his wife Darthular, with whom he continued on to Oklahoma, settling in what was then part of the Creek Nation.
