1830 census of Boone County KY p. 251, line 1 has Kite sen, Will (60 and under 70) and 1 son (30 and under 40). No wife or slaves.

Some purchasers at the sale of William's estate were John Kite and Lydia Richeson (Richardson) as well as Forest Dudgeon, husband of Susan Kite, and John Lucas, husband of Priscilla Kite.
