  4. William gives to his kin folk for thirteen hundred dollars various items that he owned. He does not outline what each recieves for the sum paid, but gives a general list of the property he is giving. He lists the following items: negro slaves one man and one woman and her infant daughter; household and kitchen furniture; knives, forks and cooking pots and every discription of furniture; stock of hogs, sheep and horses; farming tools consisting of plows and hay. This property is to be divided equally among seven people. William Jones, George Dawkins, John Spears of Jasper County; Christian Lewis, Wilson Daniel, James Daniel of Henry County and Ivy Hill of Fayette County. The deed is recorded on 3 May 1841 after his death
