Old Families of Salisbury and Amesbury, Massachusetts, p. 219, for this William notes that a William Jones of Amesbury wrote a will dated 7 Jan 1736-7, proved 6 Nov 1749, but isn't sure it is this William since it names a wife Rachel and Hoyt says this William m. (1) a wife Mary, but who d. 1688. The date Hoyt gives appears to be the death date on this page, but where the location of Maryland comes from is unexplained.
