JONES: 'Hannah, d. Robert and Johannah, Aug. 17, 1672. N. CT. R.'
No marriage record is found for Hannah, nor was any mention of any marriage for her noticed in the secondary sources that covered this family. The location suggests she is not the Hannah Joanes "of Yarmouth" that married John Baker. Rather, Mrs. John E. Barclay, in an addenda/correction to her article on the Jones Family of Yarmouth (TAG, p. 32:111), thinks the wife of John Baker is possibly the daughter of Jeremiah Jones of Yarmouth (correcting her omission from the family). Source:Bunnelle, Philip R. New England Ancestry of George R. Perry 1867-1947 refutes her original article (apparently having not seen her correction), and concludes the wife of John Baker is the daughter of Jeremiah Jones and Sarah Dillingham based on how her children were named.
