ILLNESS IS FATAL TO OCTOGENARIAN
Rites for William Jackson Conducted Tuesday at Blanchester.
Funeral rites for William H. Jackson, ages 85, of near Pleasant Plain, who died Saturday in a Blanchester nursing home after a two-months illness, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Hannah Funeral Home, Blanchester, in charge of Rev. Ray Dibble. Interment was in Blanchester Cemetery. The son of William and Sophia Scudder Jackson, he was born near Windsor, July 21, 1854, and was married December 28, 1888. He was a member of the Blanchester I. O. O. F. Lodge. In addition to the widow, Mrs. Rebecca Jackson, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Norma Ertel, of Martinsville, and Mrs. W. D. Crossley, Manasquan, N.J., and a sister Miss Delilah Jackson, Cincinnati.
