William Huse, 12th child of Doctor Nathan Huse and Rachel Sargent, was born in Amesbury 22 August 1760 and died in Waterbury, Vermont, 27 November 1839. He married in Epping, NH, 18 Jul 1780 Rachel Brier, who was granted a pension in 1846, when she was 87 years old, on account of her husband's service in the Revolutionary War. She died in Waterbury 10 March 1847.
William Huse, like his brothers, served in the War of the Revolution. In 1782, he followed his brother Joseph to Sanbornton. After living there some 20 years, he removed to Orange Vermont. Later he returned to Sanbornton, stayed there awhile, and in 1835 joined his son Joseph in Waterbury, where he died 4 years later.
