    William Abraham Houser, 2nd son of George Mason Houser, born at Louisville, KY on Feb 28, 1877, married to Lula F. Carter in 1897, lived in Louisville to Aug 1917, went to Newport News, VA, moved to Indianapolis, IN, lived there to Jun 1919, moved to farm Rt. 1 in Newtown, OH, & in Feb 1928 moved to present residence #20 Collinwood Place, Cincinnati, OH. Was in Government Service during & after the war & was sent from place to place. Lula Frances Carter, the wife, was born in Bullitt Co, KY on July 26, 1880, her parents, Silas A.Carter & Cassie E. Hawes, were of old KY & VA stock. Her father died Feb 12, 1932, aged 85, her mother still living at 3315 Rudd Ave, in Louisville, age 82yrs 3 Children of Wm.A & Lula Houser: 1)Ruby Francis Houser, b. Jul 29, 1898 at Louisville, KY, not married, stenographer & typist, works for U.S. Govt in office of Civil Service, Federal Bldg, Cincinnati, OH, stays at home with parents. Worked for Govt. since 1918. 2)Wm.George Houser, only son, born May 5, 1900 at Louisville, KY. married Zilphia Curry in Indianapolis on Nov 10, 1919 & they have two sons: Wm.Earl b.Sep 1923 & Robt.Samuel b.Aug 1925. Wm.George was a fireman on the B&G Railroad for 7yrs, died in Crist Hospital, Cincinnati on Mar 12, 1929, after a lingering illness, is buried in Crown Hill Cem in Indianapolis. His widow, with the 2 boys lives at 1846 Jones St in Indianapolis, IN 3)Ethel Alma Houser, born July 8, 1904 at 1011 Franklin St. in Louisville, KY. Stays with her parents, never married, is a stenographer, active in musical circles. President of Madisonville club, soloist in choir Baptist Church.
