Named as a grandson in the 1702 will of Thomas Buckley, whose will left his plantation to his grandson James Hill, provided James Hill deeded to his brother WIlliam Hill the land where their father, Robert Hill, had lately lived. James Hill the land of Robert Hill on 24 NOV 1710 as his own property to John Kirk. (Lancaster County Deed Book 1706-1710, pp. 399-401.
