William Belemus Hayden born March 15, 1766 died January 11, 1834 at the home of Henry Bilhymer somewhere near New Market, Virginia. He was trying to reach the home of his son, Dr. Anaximander Belemus Hayden which this son knew nothing of until after his death, and burial at Henry Bilhymers. I do now know where he was coming from but by old letters, I find he was in Mercer Co., Ky., in the summer of 1829. He was then writing to his son Dr. John Ramsey Hayden of Harpers Ferry, Va. He had been in New Madrid, Mo., prior to 1829 and tells his son John that he will return there from Kentucky before he comes to him. Walling, their children: Van Delashmer, william Anson and Sarah Ann. Hannah Ramsey Hayden married Lilbourn W. Lewis, January 27, 1831 and lived in New Madrid, Mo., she died when her youngest child Lilbourn Alexander Lewis was three months old as he was born October 4, 1843. Dr. Jno. Ramsey Hayden born July 25, 1797 died August 31, 1838, married Scotia Warden, February 7, 1822. She was born October 9, 1800.
