There are two marriage records of William M. Greenlee and Mary Jackson. The first marriage record is found at usgenweb.com/Pennsylvania/Fayette County and says William M. Greenleee was a pilot and born in Ohio. The record at familysearch.org gives William's parents' names as Morris and Catherine Greenlee. An 1870 census record for Gallipolis, Gallia Co., Ohio has been found showing William M. still living with his parents Morris and Catherine and shows both William and his father Morris occupations as steam boat pilots on the Ohio River.

There is an ancestry.com tree for a different William M. Greenlee with parents named Mathew and Martha Greenlee which should not be confused with this William M. Greenlee whose parents names are Morris and Catherine Greenlee. Both Williams have an 1848 birth year so confusion is possible.
