William's father, William Green, Senior, died 29 March 1909. William, Jr. died a month later - 30 Apr 1909. They are buried close together in section F of the Pearl Cemetery per the Franklin Twp. employee 08 Apr 2012.

WM. GREEN DIED FROM ILLNESS OF PNEUMONIA
Well Known Citizen Away At Home on Clinton Avenue About One O'Clock This Afternoon.
William Green died at his home on Clinton Avenue about 10 o'clock Friday afternoon, after a week's illness of pneumonia. He was 59 years of age and was born near Anna. He was married thirty-six years ago to Catherine Lippencott of Anna and spent most of his married life on a farm near Anna. He was later in business at that place. He has lived in Sidney for the past five or six years, being employed as engineer at the water works. He is survived by his wife and two children, Roy G. of Sidney, and Daisy Fox of Miamisburg.
