"AFFECTED FATALLY WILLIAM ETCHISON DEAD AND FATALLY STRICKEN: (By Star Special Service) Elwood, Ind., Sept. 28. The husband dead of typhoid fever and the wife critically ill of paralysis following the shock of his death is the sad state of affairs at the home of William Etchison, a prominent citizen of the township, south of Elwood. Mr. Etchison died Sunday and his wife, who was injured by a stroke of lightning eight or nine years ago, was visited by paralysis a few minutes after his death. Physicians say she can not recover."
