Wm. Edward Dunlap owned land in the Village of Grover Hill in Paulding County, Ohio, in Lot Nos. 23 and 24 of Kinkades Second Addition. In 1900 he was the postmaster in Grover Hill, Ohio. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias belonging to the Grover Hill Lodge No. 601. He was in business in 1894 to 1897 as Jenkins and Dunlap. In 1898, his business was called Dunlap & Foor. By 1912 he and his family were living in Fort Wayne, Indiana at 1540 East Wayne Street. In 1913 they moved to 117 East Taber Street in Fort Wayne. By 1920 they had moved to 121 West DeWald Street in Fort Wayne. By 1930 they were living on a farm in Ossian, Indiana. He died at the University Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Death was caused by pneumonia. He had moved from the farm in Ossian back to Fort Wayne three months before he died.
