I am looking into a possible connection between your William Driver from PA around 1810 and one who died about 1888. He was married to a Catherine Evans Driver who would have been my great-great grandmother's sister.

From Marjorie Matzen

Information received from Norma Locke of Wichita, Kansas indicates that "in a notebook belonging to Donald Peden (deceased) I found a letter written by Ida Enlow Price to Donald's father years ago. It says "Rebecca had a brother named William. He was called "Uncle Will", being very tall and slender - a good colonial gentleman to the core. An old woman got a stick to measure him and he was almost seven feet tall. Very aristocratic in his bearing."
