Found in Ross Co. Deed records, pg. 431, Vol. ?, "Be it known that we, Elizabeth Dresback, widow of William Dreisback, late of Ross County, Ohio, deceased, Susan H. The following is quoted from the Genealogy of the Eyestone family, compiled by J. Bruce Eyestone in 1948 (to my knowledge, this was never published, although various family members have mimeographed copies -- it is available at the Library of Congress): "The only son of Anna Susan Eyestone, born April 29, 1818 in Green Township, Ross County, Ohio. Farmer, member Universalist Church. Died September 5, 1886, buried in German Reformed Cemetery, Green Township, Ross County. Married twice, first to Elizabeth Jones of Harrison Township, Ross County, about 1840. They had nine children. His second marriage was to Elizabeth Fryback of Green Township; they also had nine children. William's father, Jonathan, in his will gave to William $1,000.00 which he invested in Northern Ohio near where the Van Gundy's and other Eyestone had settled. 7 children grew up as follows: Susan Ellen Dresbach, married Ranck, (Henry), born 1838 William had 19 grandchildren in 1928. Died of heart attack one day on his arising. He lived together with his mother in the home of Abraham, his grandfather." References
