Found in Ross Co. Deed records, pg. 431, Vol. ?, "Be it known that we, Elizabeth Dresback, widow of William Dreisback, late of Ross County, Ohio, deceased, Susan H. Ranck and Henry Ranck, her husband, Margaret Morrison and James Morrison, her husband, William Pyle, as Guardian of Ollie, Elsie, Edward, Clifford, and Effie Dresbach, being all the minor children of Aaron Dresback, decd., Louisa Wood and James S. Wood, her husband, Alfred Dresback and Edith Dresback, his wife, Milton Dresback, and Alice Dresback, his wife, do hereby constitute and appoint Henry Ranck and Alfred Dresback our attorney in fact for us, ... administrators of William Dresback estate ...to lease and collect rents... object of this power of attorney is to empower said administrators as fully as we may to settle said Estate without bringing to sale any of the lands (over 350 acres) of which said William Dresback died seized."

The following is quoted from the Genealogy of the Eyestone family, compiled by J. Bruce Eyestone in 1948 (to my knowledge, this was never published, although various family members have mimeographed copies -- it is available at the Library of Congress):

"The only son of Anna Susan Eyestone, born April 29, 1818 in Green Township, Ross County, Ohio. Farmer, member Universalist Church. Died September 5, 1886, buried in German Reformed Cemetery, Green Township, Ross County. Married twice, first to Elizabeth Jones of Harrison Township, Ross County, about 1840. They had nine children. His second marriage was to Elizabeth Fryback of Green Township; they also had nine children. William's father, Jonathan, in his will gave to William $1,000.00 which he invested in Northern Ohio near where the Van Gundy's and other Eyestone had settled. 7 children grew up as follows:

Susan Ellen Dresbach, married Ranck, (Henry), born 1838
Miranda-Dresbach-Morrison, born August 2, 1843
Aaron Dresbach, born August 31, 1847, died December 24, 1882 - The correct year is 1881, per estate records.
Louisa Dresbach-Wood, born August 19, 1849
William Dresbach, born July 20, 1857, died April 29, 1879
Alfred Dresbach, born November 8, 1859.
Milton Dresbach, born November 14, 1861. Died (est.) February 25, 1927.

William had 19 grandchildren in 1928. Died of heart attack one day on his arising. He lived together with his mother in the home of Abraham, his grandfather."
