Murder

William Culver was indicted for murdering Samuel Jenks, but pleaded to manslaughter and was sentenced to six years and six months of labor at Clinton prison. His wife Eleanor, father Levi, two brothers (Daniel and Benjamin), a sister-in-law (Hannah, wife of Benjamin), and David Lamphiere (no alleged relation) were also arrested.
