William Murphy Crumrine, 87, of Yachats, a former Klamath Falls resident, died March 25, 1989, at his home.
He was born in Kansas and had been a resident of Yachats for the past 20 years. He formerly lived in Klamath Falls for 40 years.
He had been a mechanic most of his life for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, retiring in 1967.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Royer, whom he married Oct. 13, 1923, in Vancouver, Wash.; four children, Ruth E. Potts of Waldport; Alice I. Hyatt of Crescent City, Calif., Laura M. Bridges of Aumsville, and John W. Crumrine of Lakeview; two brothers, Harvey W. Crumrine of Port Townsend, Wash., and Gilbert G. Crumrine of Long Beach, Wash.; a sister Florence White of Marysville, Wash.; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
