Gilbert "Bert" Crumrine, 79, Sublimity, a former Klamath Falls resident, died Jan. 15, 1997, in Sublimity.
Mr. Crumrine was born March 3, 1917, in Abilene, Kan.
He moved to Newberg in 1922.
He was married June 24, 1938, to Viginia Pierson in Newberg.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Crumrine moved to Klamath Falls in 1946 and to Florence in 1976.
After his wife preceded him in death in August, 1984, he was married to Betty Uden in Chinook, Wash., on March 12, 1985.
He moved to Long Beach, Wash., in 1985 and to Sublimity in 1995.
Before he retired, Mr. Crumrine was a mechanic for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation for 25 years.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Betty, Sublimity; children, Kathryn Morehead, Portland, Dale Crumrine, Springfield, Milo Dean Crumrine, Oregon City, Teddy Ray Crumrine, Marysville, Wash., Linda Baker, Portland, and Gerald Uden, Chadwick, Mo.; sister, Florence White, Everett, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
