CLIFFORD, 71, ACTIVE IN MASON LODGE Hinckley-William J. Clifford, 71, a resident here for 25 years, died in Benns Nursing Home, Maynard, Feb. 28, 1958 after a long illness. He was born in Clinton Nov. 17, 1886, son of Thomas W. and Ellen Clark Clifford. He married Marguerite Duffield in 1915. She died in 1948. He married Ethel Gregory, Hinckley, at Hamilton in 1949. He was a member of Remsen Lodge 677, F&AM; Yahnundasis Bodies Ancient Order of the Scottish Rite and Ziyara Temple Ancient Order of the Mystic Shrine, Whitesboro American Legion Post; Utica Post VFW. Besides his wife he leaves a sister, Mrs. Mary Worden of Oriskany; a brother, Thomas Clifford of Grant. The funeral will be… Monday from his home, the Rev.
