Burial[2] 17 May 1832 Barnack, Northamptonshire, EnglandSt John the Baptist

William Burrows was baptised on 12th April 1830 at Barnack in Northamptonshire, son of an agricultural labourer named James Burrows and his wife Elizabeth Allen. He seems to appear twice in the baptism records, with a second baptism entry for 11th July 1830, but which is otherwise identical to the 12th April record. Quite likely the baptism on 12th April was a private baptism, with him being received into the church on 11th July. William died aged 2, and was buried at Barnack on 17th May 1832. His mother was pregnant at the time of his death - when the baby was born it was a son who they also named William, although he too would die young.
