DEATH: Obit: Buech, William F. Tues. Apr 10, 1984 of Milwaukee, age 95 years. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor B. (nee Grady). Dear father of Alida Jean Sauter of Long Island, NY. Further survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Complete funeral services Tue. Apr 17th at 11 am at the Funeral Home. In state Mon 4 ? pm. Mr. Buech was an Honorable Member of Milwaukee Musicians Union, South Division High School Old Timers Assoc. DEATH: Obit: William Buech Services for Willaim (Billie) Buech, a former Milwaukee pianist, violinist and orchestra operator, will be held at 11 am Tuesday at thr Schmidt-Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Ave, Wauwatosa. Buech died Tuesday of heart failure at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital in Patchogue, NY. He was 95. Buech, who graduated from South Division High School in 1911, was the oldest member of the Milwaukee musician's union when he left the city in 1982. He was a self-taught piano player and once played with the Orpheum Theater's orchestra in Madison with such performers as Eddie Cantor and Sophia Tucker. He also operated his own orchestra and worked with the renowned Hildegarde. Buech served one term on the Milwaukee School Board in the mid-1930's. His Father, Robert, was Milwaukee County sheriff in the 1920's, a former county supervisor, city alserman and election comissioner. Buech is survived by his daughter, Alida Jean Suater of New York. The body will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 pm Monday. Burial will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield.
