William Brown was baptised on 8th September 1763 at Kimpton in Hertfordshire, son of Thomas and Ann Brown. He was the eighth of nine children baptised at Kimpton to the couple between 1751 and 1765.

Sadly William died as a baby, being buried just three days after his baptism.
