William Brown was baptised on 16th June 1765 at Kimpton in Hertfordshire, son of Thomas and Ann Brown. He was the youngest of nine children baptised at Kimpton to the couple between 1751 and 1765. William was the couple's third son called William; presumably the elder two had died young.

William has yet to be traced after his baptism.
