Will Abstract

Will of William Bell, of Beaufort in Granville County, in the Province of South Carolina.
Names: Niece Mary Dunlap "when she comes of Age of on the day of Marriage".; "after the decease of my Loving Mother Elizabeth Bell, my House and Lott in Beaufort, know[n] by the Name of Number 7, be Sold, by my Executors hereafter mentioned, and also all and every part of the Personal Estate left my said Mother Elizabeth Bell, during her Life only by the Will of my deceased Father Andrew Bell, and that after deducting all charges, that may attand the Sale of the said House and Lott and personal Estate aforesaid, the Neat amount be equally divided betwixt my Loving Niece Mary Dunlap and my Cousin Andrew Bell, the son of James Bell, in Potters Row, in the City of Edinburgh, Mary Dunlaps one Mority [Moeity] to be paid her by my Executors hereafter mentioned, when she arrives at the age of Twenty One years, or the day of her Marriage, and my Cousin Andrew Bell's Mority [Moeity] to be Remitted him as soon as possible after the Sale is made of the House and Lott and personal Estate.
Lastly I hereby Nominate and appoint John Barnwell, James Cuthbert and Francis Stuart all of the town of Beaufort Executors.
In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this Twenty fourth day of January, One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Six.
