- Will of Elizabeth Bell of the Parish of Saint Helena, in Granville County in the Province of South Carolina, Widow...
- Names "my well beloved Nephew Alexander Macqueen", "my well beloved Neice Elizabeth Parker", "I give devise and bequeath unto my Mullatto Girl Named Nancy, her Sole, whone and Entire freedom from Slavery together with the Sum of Five pounds Currency of South Carolina to be paid her when she attains the age of Eighteen Years", "my well beloved Grand daughter Mary Dunlap", "and Whereas the Heirs of my Nephew Andrew Bell, son of James Bell of Scotland are Lawfully Entitled to one half of the House and Lot of Land in the Town of Beaufort and whereon I now live, it is therefore my Will and I hereby Order my Executors to purchase the said Half of the House and Land if possible from the Right Heirs of Andrew Bell and give the same to my said Grand daughter and her Heirs forever provided the Heirs of the said Andrew Bell claims the same before my said Grand daughter attains the age of Eighteen Years, and in case my said Grand daughter Mary Dunlap should die before she attains the age of Eighteen Years of day of Marriage without Lawful Issue, then and in that case, I give devise and bequeath, all that I have herein before given to my said Grand daughter unto the Lawful begotten Children of my said Nephew Alexander Macqueen and my said Neice Elizabeth Parker equally to be divided between the Children of the said Alexander Macqueen and Elizabath Parker and in case one of them should have no Children, then the Children of the other to have the whole of my aforesaid Estate."
- Nominates "my Trusty Friends John Barnwell Senr., Thomas Bowman, James Cuthbert Senr. and William Elliott to be my Executors".
