Research Notes

In Pontotoc County Will Book 1, page 223 on 21 Sep 1839 James Bardin is the guardian of the heirs of Wm. Bardin, deceased. The heirs are Wm. Bardin, Nancy, Phebe, Charity and Salley. The guardian bond was signed by James Bardin, Andrew McDonald, and Jacob Dansby.

In Pontotoc County Estate Journal (1844-1848) on page 72 in April 1846 the account of J. Bardin, administrator of Phebe Bardin, deceased is mentioned.

On page 202 on 05 Jan 1846 James Bardin guardian of Sarah T. Bardin is mentioned.
