According to one Ancestry Member Tree, William married Sarah "Sally" Sellers on 11 Nov 1816. [needs source info].

William is suspected to be the likely father of Branson W. Armentrout (1830-1911), whose Missouri Certificate of Death lists a William Armentrout as his father and an Elizabeth ____ as his mother. {possible 2nd marriage for William?} Branson Armentrout was listed in the 1850 Census as living in the same household with THREE of William Armentrout's sisters [Mary, Elizabeth & Susannah], providing some circumstantial support for Brandon being this William Armentrout's son.
