Abraham Anderson did NOT name a son William in his will in Frederick County, Virginia, and Wilmer L. Kerns, author of Frederick County, Virginia 1730-1830, Settlement & First Families of Back Creek Valley, does NOT list William Anderson as one of his children.

    William Anderson was born 18 Mar 1774 in Anne Arundel, Maryland, USA to parents Abraham Anderson and Sarah Pogue. - [Note: It does NOT appear that this William Anderson was a son of William Anderson. Sarah Pogue married Abraham Anderson several years AFTER William Anderson was born].

    He married Amelia Clinton 1797.
