William was 35 at time of his marriage to Susan Stewart. She was 24. It took place in the Fordoun district in Kincardineshire. #259, entry 12, pg 6. The marriage was performed at Fordoun Station, parish of Fordoun. Marriage (after banns) was solemized between us according to the forms of the Established Church of Scotland. James Mitchell, assistant minister of Garvock, married them. George Donald and John Ritchie were witnesses.
