William bought land in Pennsylvania from Mathias Shepler, son of John and Magdalene who's land in Frederick County bordered that of William Albin Sr. William served as an Ensign in the Revolutionary War with the Rangers of the Frontier from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
