Private William Gettle of Captain Marshall B. Clasons, Company (B) of the 121st Ohio Regiment of United States Volunteers (Detached in Co. G 1st Brtt Pioneer Brig A???????) was enlisted by C.S. Basling of the 121st Regiment of Ohio Vol Infantry at Shelby Ohio on the 12th Twelfth day of August 1862 to serve Three years: he was born in Lebanon Co. in the State of Pennsylvania is Forty Four years of age, Five feet Six inches high, Fair complexion, Gray eyes Brown hair, and by occupation when enlisted a Carpenter. During the last two months said soldier has been unfit for duty 60 days (Here consult directions on Form 13, p 325 Medical Dpet. Gen. Reg.) and has not done duty since December last.
STATION: Chattanooga, Tenn Charles Linnet 1st Lt. 113 O.V.I. DATE: April 19, 1864 Comdy Co. G 1st B. T.B. commanding Company -- I CERTIFY, that I have carefully examed the said Private William Gettle of Captain W. B.
