Wilbourne Leon Spradling, 1936-2011, passed on to a better life Tuesday, May 31. Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, he was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Air Force as a firefighter/crash and rescue. He also served in our LORD's army for most of his life, sharing the love of Jesus with everyone he could.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Spradling, Syracuse, UT; his siblings: Myrtle Barns, Stockton, CA, Daniel Spradling and his wife Mary, Lodi, CA, and Wilma Johnson, Van Buren, AR; his children: Leon Spradling and his wife Rose, San Antonio, TX, Mark Smith, Rohnert, CA, Deborah Arbuckle and her husband Paul, Syracuse, UT, and Stephen Spradling and his wife Danielle, Bakersfield, CA, along with eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
